Mercedes-Benz C-Class and BMW 3 series part I

Daimler Company claims that the new Mercedes-Benz C-Class’s manageability can compete with other leaders of the segment. To check the validity of this statement, we compared it with the BMW 3 Series. In our test involved BMW 320i with an engine capacity of 184 hp and Mercedes-Benz C 250 engine that develops 211 hp. Both cars are rear-wheel drive. Like the exterior, the interior of Mercedes-Benz C-Class has dramatically changed compared to the previous generation model. Instead of sharp edges appear smooth, rounded lines and, of course, a separate display interfaces in the form of a tablet. Plastic began to look more expensive, and key windows now look like works of art.

The design of door panels, as many other elements of the interior, is almost one to one as in the flagship S-Class, only smaller in size, of course. Due to the high line glazing driver and front passenger feel protected.

We have already got accustomed to the interior of the BMW 3 Series. But still, we note that the “puff” of the front line is not perfect for everyone. The rest of the interior with a little expanded to the driver center console is typical of Bavarian cars. Plastic soft even at lower perimeter (as in the Mercedes-Benz), and its coarse texture looks rougher than the competitor.
