October 24, 2012 at 09:00

We usually see how different automakers are fighting with other, and today we are going to see the fight of two continents even, as we are having on one side North America that is presented by a new 2012 year model of Lincoln MKS and the Asia, that is presented by the Japanese automaker and its model of 2012 year Acura TL. Both sedans are great-looking, but let’s test them in terms of technical specifications.

The prices of these two models are quite similar and are fairly high for such a sedan type vehicle, though as we are now in the upper-class segment, we must say that the price tags are quite justifiable. New Lincoln will cost you about $41,500, while for new Acura you will have to pay around $35,600. In terms of the core, new Lincoln is equipped with 273-horsepower 3.7-liter V6 core, that runs on regular gas, while new Acura got for itself the 305-horsepower 3.7-liter V6, so the same volume, same number of cylinders, but more power output. And even though new Acura is even more fuel economic, offering 4 mpg more both in the city and on the highway.

So in the end we must say that new Acura wins, as more powerful and more economic sedan of the premium class.
