Two Upper-Class Sedans Fight: Lincoln vs. Cadillac

July 25, 2012 at 09:18

The fight between two great sedans begins now. We have here new and fresh models of the year 2012, fully prepaired to fight with each other. Though now we have not just ordinary sedans that you see every day riding down the streets, we have the fight between upper-class sedans, sedans with the names that we have made stories about during our childhood, in the left corner we have 2012 Lincoln MKS and in the right corner we have the 2012 Cadillac XTS.

And the first round is price, both models compete in the section that gets them above $40k. Cadillac from year 2012 will cost you $44,000 while you can get a fresh and new glossy Lincoln for $41,500. Therefore Lincoln starts to beat Cadillac a little here. Now let’s look at the engines. The difference is not that sensible as Lincoln has the 3.7L 273hp V6 core, while Cadillac got the 3.6L 304hp V6. Though, it is a good punch back from Cadillac. Now let’s see the fuel economy. Both cars are quite efficient, especially in the city, giving us 17mpg but on the highway Lincoln falls behind with 24 mpg while Cadillac gets all 28 mpg.
So in the end Cadillac wins the fight between upper-class sedans.
