Today we bring you the fight between two great sport utility vehicles we have recently come across. New and not yet truly experienced in the ride 2013th year Lexus SUV model of GX460 and the 2013th Porsche Cayenne. These two cars are top models in this section of the market and also compete in a very aggressive manner with the other upper-scale SUVs. They both are from the very expensive section so watch out.
So if we start with price, the first thing to mention should be the fact that both these models are in the more than $50,000 market. New Porsche would cost you $51,850, while the new Infinity SUV GX460 will be about $2,000 more expensive with the price of $53,450. Now let’s see what they have inside. This is where the great surprise will come, as even costing more, the Cayenne model got for itself just the 3.6L 300hp V6. This is not bad, but for less money Infinity got more cylinders and greater volume with the base engine of 4.6L 301hp V8. Interestingly enough the horsepower level actually stayed the same. On the fuel economy side these two cars suck, actually, having the characteristic of 15 mpg in the city and around 20-22 mpg on the highway.
So in the end Infiniti wins the fight!
