Getting cars to the fight is our pleasure, therefore with a great pleasure we are presenting to you a new fight between two upper-scale utility vehicles, they are still fighting in the SUVs section, though with the prefix of “Sport” before it. So let’s welcome to the fight the new and fully fresh 2013 Volvo XC60 from one side and still hot from the assembly line the 2013 Acura RDX base sport utility models.

Starting with price we will see that both of the cars compete in more than $30,000 section. The minimum you will have to pay for each of those is $34,000. In fact for Acura you may pay even couple of hundred bucks more. Now let’s look at the engine. If before, Acura was really lagging behind with horsepower, it is not the case with the RDX model, as it is a true tiger on the road with 3.5L 273hp V6. Volvo is also quite powerful, but in comparison with Acura’s engine it’s 3.2L 240hp I6 seems a little less impressive. Acura also beats Volvo on the fuel economy side, as it can go for 20 mpg in the city and 28 on the highway, while Volvo goes in each position about 5 mpg less.
