The Fight between Three Cargo Vans: Toyota vs Ford vs Nissan

July 26, 2012 at 09:35

As we do not usually review the fights between vans, today we decided that we will take three cars at once and will see how they can fight with each other. They also seem to compete in the section of big vans under $25,000 price range. So the competition is pretty tough and models should be very prominent to be able to get even a little ahead in this one. We have also divided it into two parts, so look for the continuation of the fight in the post!

Starting with price, we can say that the fight is already pretty interesting. The three vans that are fighting today are 2013 Toyota Sienna, 2013 Ford Transit Connect and the 2012 Nissan NV2500. They all are cargo mini- or simply vans, so they cost accordingly, however they’ve decided to lower their prices to get into the big-affordable cars sections. The prices of those three are below $25,000, though pretty close it. It doesn’t get lower than $22,700 and doesn’t get higher than $24,800. Now let’s see the fuel economy, as we decided to leave the engine for tomorrow. The fuel economy appears to be the best with Ford, as it can go for 21 mpg in the city and 27 on the highway. The other two go far to 18-20 mpg in the city and 23-25 mpg on the highway. It is pretty a good offering, though we actually expected a little more.
