The prices of these two models are just as the average on the market, they are still set at around $15,000. Though new Yaris is more expensive as it costs $15,400, while new Chevrolet managed to lower the price tag to $14,800. Strangely enough, the core of the models is quite different not positively correlated to the price, the higher priced Toyota got a lower power of the engine, which is 1.5L 106hp I4, while new Sonic got the 1.8L 138hp I4. However more expensive Toyota will be able to provide you some savings on the fuel, as it offers a greater fuel economy both in the city and on the highway on average of about 4 mpg.
