As sedans appear to be one of the most popular models on the market we decided to provide you with the overview of the fight between two great sedans. One of them being the 2012 year model of Volkswagen Passat – great German acknowledged not only in Germany, but also all over Europe and in other parts of the world; from the other side we have a great 2012 model of Hyundai Azera fighting for the title.

From the price perspective Hyundai will for sure be a much more expensive device, as it will cost you not less than $32,000, and this is for the 2012 year model. Volkswagen Passat is much more modest in this sense, asking about $19,990 for the base sedan model from the year 2012. Now let’s see who will be stronger in the engine’s fight. Passat is equipped with the 2.5L 170hp I5 engine, while Hyundai got a lot more powerful 3.3L 293hp V6. Even though we usually give more preference for the more powerful cars I would really say now – why would one need so much horsepower? On the fuel economy, due to far bigger volume Hyundai can go about 3mpg less, while Passat will offer you 22 mpg in the city and 32 mpg on the highway.

So in the end, even though the fight was very difficult, we still say in sedans fight – Passat is far more better model!
