Today we present you the fight between two very modern sedan models. We’ve brought you two 2013 vehicles of the Asian marquees. Today the fight will take place between 2013 Hyundai Elantra and the 2013 Kia Forte. Both cars are relatively affordable, economic in terms of fuel consumption, are considered elites of the marquee and can over a fair output of power. So let’s see who will win today’s fight.

If we start with price, then we will see that both these cars can be bought for less than $18,000. Therefore we would ascribe them to the fairly affordable segments of the market. Now let’s see at the engine, as we know, the heart of the cars is the most important determinant of our fights. Hyundai has at the heart 1.8L 148hp I4, while Kia got the heart of a little better specifications, 2.0L 156hp I4. The difference is not big, but it may possibly become the main one in the fight. Though, if we will look at the fuel economy, we will see that Hyundai will actually get us further for about 3 miles in the city and 4 on the highway, having the specs of 26 mpg/city and 40mpg/highway.
