Today we present to you the fight between two base sedan models. These two cars are greatly comfortable and also very attractive in terms of exterior design. Both cars are also one of the most popular in this section, though appear to be at the top lists on different continents, therefore we bring them together today to see which one of these two cars appears to be the cross-world favorite if we talk about the base sedans with price tag below $25,000. Let’s welcome 2013 Chrysler 200 Sedan and the 2013 year model of Ford Fusion.

These two cars, as already mentioned, are priced below $25,000. The actual price for new 2013 Chrysler 200 Sedan is $24,200, while new Ford Fusion will cost you about $23,700. The difference is not that big, and we will consider it to be insufficient. Now let’s look at the engine. New Chrysler got the 3.6-Liter V6 engine with 24 valves, which produces 283 of horsepower. Near this great and powerful creature new Ford Fusion seems like a pony with 1.6-Liter I4 engine with 16 valves that is capable of 170-horsepower. In terms of fuel economy Ford is a little ahead with 23/32 mpg, while Chrysler has 19/29 mpg.

So in the end we still think that for the same price it is better to get more power, so Chrysler wins the fight!
