We have the clash of titans featuring 2012 model of Mazda CX-9 and the competing car of 2012 Nissan Murano. The price of these two cars is set at the level of about $29,600. Therefore we still consider them in the under $30,000 segment. Though the price doesn’t really matter, let’s see the engine. Mazda CX-9 is equipped with 3.7L V6, 24 valves with the power of 273-hp @ 6250. Nissan Murano in turn got the 3.5L V6 engine with 24 valves and the power of 260-hp @ 6000. So we can see than as previously one could see, Japanese automakers try to manufacture cars with very similar constructions. Even the fuel economy is almost identical with Mazda having 18 mpg in the city and 29\8 mpg on the highway and Nissan different only in 1mpg less in the city, while highway having the same. Both also have 6-speed automatic transmission.

So in the end we can say that the cars are really-really similar, but if we are to judge, we think Mazda offers greater engaging drive!
