Fight between Two SUVs

Today we got to you the fight between the Asian marquees. We all know Toyota for the highly productive and quality oriented manufacturing process, and we know Korea to be the cost and also fairly quality leader. So today we have prepared two glossy models for the fight. Let’s welcome the Toyota 2013 Venza and 2013 Kia Sorento. Let’s see which of these two cars will be going down first.

Starting from the price, both of these models seem to be fairly identical. Kia asks for around $27,950 for the base model, while Toyota asks for only 200$ less, so it is not such a profound difference. The standard engine that comes with Toyota is just the 2.7L 181hp I4. While Kia is capable of giving us around 90 horsepower more, having the standard engine of 3.5L 276hp V6. It seems that new generation of Korean cars will be getting forward. Both cars have four valves and are equipped with front wheel drive. On the question of fuel economy they both are again going too close to each other, however Toyota appears to be just couple of inches forward, offering you 21 mpg in the city, compared to 20 of Kia, and 27 on the highway, compared to 26 of Kia.

So what can we say, even though Toyota tried really hard, it still seems to be going down!
