Today we decided to come up with something new and compare big size cars. It is not usual for some European people to buy big cars, as it seems to be more common in US, however, doesn’t the big car add to the inner feeling of self-worth? Today we take into the fight Jeep Grand Cherokee from 2012 and the 2012 Ford Explorer.

Both cars start from around $28,000. Though the highest average price was greater for the Grand Cherokee. In terms of engine you can get the maximum with Jeep’s engine of 470-hp the 6.4-liter V-8 or 290-hp the 3.6-liter V-6, the flexible one, E95, or you also have an option of 360-hp the 5.7-liter V-8, regular gas. In terms of Ford you can get 240-hp of 2.0-liter I-4 or 290-hp the 3.5-liter V-6 both regular gas. So if you want to feel the real steel stallion under your feet, get yourself the Cherokee model. Both cars come with the 6-speed automatic transmission w/OD and auto-man system. However, jeep can also come with the 5-speed automatic transmission w/OD and auto-man. But Ford beats the Cherokee in fuel economy! On average Explorer could go 7 miles more for the same amount of fuel.
