Today we will look at two very interestingly-looking small cars that have received a number of awards in terms of their style and handling. These two cars are always very controversial in terms of customers’ reviews, though they both are simply great and engaging. Let’s see which one will win the today’s fight: maybe it will be a new 2012 MINI Cooper Countryman or maybe the great 2012 Kia Soul? Let’s start the fight and learn it all!

The price of the new MINI Cooper Countryman starts from the $21,750. It is not that much, though it is quite higher than the average for other small cars in this segment. For a new Kia Soul from the year 2012 you will have to pay around $19,600. It is also a little higher than usual. So now let’s see the core of those cars, maybe that is where the secret is hidden. New MINI comes with the 1.6-Liter I4 engine with 16 valves and the power performance of 121-horsepower, while new Kia got the 2.0-Liter I4 core with 16 valves and the power output of 164-horses. Both cars come with 6-speed transmission systems, though new MINI got the manual one, while Kia still offers the great automatic.
