As Japanese cars are greatly known for their high quality and relatively low prices we for sure wait with the great anticipation any new models. Even though high quality and low prices may not go together in your mind, this is indeed the case with Japanese due to their lean manufacturing approach, and also cutting costs on luxury materials, as Japanese cars, even though very nice and stylish are not considered to be the upper-scale ones. Even though we are present you today the great fight between two Japanese 2013 year SUVs, we have Nissan Rogue fighting with Mazda CX-5.

Regarding the price, two models are more or less quite affordable vehicles, as Nissan will cost you $22,300, while new Mazda SUV will cost you a little more – $23,600. Now let’s see the engines of these two beasties of Japanese auto manufacturers. Nissan got for itself the 2.5L 170hp I4. While Mazda is again getting lower volume but not that much less horsepower with 2.0L 155hp I4. Of course, on the fuel economy level these two cars are simply great, offering around 25-26 mpg in the city and 29-31 mpg on the highway. Though Mazda seems a little further on this numbers.
