We continue our post that appeared yesterday about the fight between three great small cars: 2013 year model of Volkswagen Golf R, in the other corner of our ring we will see new 2013 Dodge Dart and yet in the other corner new 2013 Toyota Yaris. In the last press release we looked at the price, and today we will look at the technical specifications of these great cars.
New Volkswagen got the 2.0-Liter I4 engine with 16 valves that produces 256-horsepower @ 6000 level of toque. New Dodge Dart in turn is equipped with 2.0-Liter I4 engine with 16 valves that give out 160-horsepower @ 6400 level of torque. And last but not the least is new Toyota Yaris with the smallest volume of 1.5-Liter I4 engine 16 valves that has about 106 ponies at 6000 level of torque. New Toyota got the 4-speed automatic transmission, while new Volkswagen and Dodge got the 6-speed transmission. Though, new Yaris is the most economic in fuel consumption, as it offers the biggest fuel economy of 30 mpg in the city, though on the highway wins new Dart with 36 mpg.
So in the end we will say that the winner is new Dodge Dart, with the best power and price ratio.
