Today we bring you two very rare and not that popular sport vehicles, that one can think of when you hear news about the motor track. But we are sure that these two cars that are going to fight with each other right now are really something worth. Today we will see how new 2012 year Scion FR-S will be dealing with the competitor on the other side which appears to be a new 2012 Mazda MX-5 Miata.

In terms of price we can see that these two cars go very close to one another. New Scion is priced $25,300, while new Mazda Miata got the price of $27,100. Whether the difference in $2,000 is a justified one, we will see now. In terms of the core new Scion got the 2.0-Liter H4 engine with 16 valves, that produces 200-horsepower. New Mazda Miata got the very similar engine, under its hood is 2.0-Liter I4 with 16 valves, that is capable of performing 167-horsepower. Though in terms of fuel economy new Miata falls behind on 5 mpg. As new Scion offers 25 mpg in the city and 34 mpg on the highway, it is much more than new Mazda can show us.
