Today we present a great sedans fighting. The two models that we have found for this press release are the ones that appear to be quite popular among the middle class, as they are fairly economic and do not require high financial expenditures with the initial purchase. So let’s see which one will win the clash right now, as in the right corner of our ring is new 2013 Chevrolet Malibu and on the other side we have new 2013 Hyundai Elantra.

From the very beginning we always look at the price. Even though the cars appear to be quite economic, new Hyundai is a far more less expensive car than Chevrolet. So new Hyundai costs about $16,700, while new Chevrolet has a price tag about $10,000 more, with the lowest price level set at $24,600. In terms of engine the difference is also quite big. New Chevrolet got the 2.4-Liter I4 engine with 16 valves, that gives out 169-horsepower at 6400 level of torque. New Hyundai Elantra in turn is equipped with 1.8-Liter I4 engine with 16 valves, which produces 148-horsepower at 6500 level of torque. Both models have 6-speed transmission systems. Though Elantra is more fuel economic, on average going for 5mpg more than new Malibu.
