Today let’s car about the environment more than usual and try to find best green for for an optimal price. The two contestants for today are going to be the 2013 Hyundai Sonata Hybrid on one side, and on the other side we will see the new model of 2013 Kia Optima Hybrid.

Both cars are pretty affordable in both initial purchase and in the running costs. The invoice price of new Kia hybrid is just $24,800, while new 2013 Hyundai Hybrid has a price of $24,650. So you see, now green energy is even more affordable than before! The core of new Kia is 2.4-Liter 206-horsepower I4. New Hyundai in turn is not better and not worse, but exactly the same, as its core is also 2.4L 206hp I4. Both automakers decided to make the cars pretty similar in nature. They also both come with the front wheel drive and have great fuel efficiency, that is about 35 mpg in the city and 40 on the highway.
