November 30, 2012 at 09:20

Let’s try to look at another two great models in the compact car segment. These two are more of Western European, and seem to be quite interesting in terms of the ride, the handling and also the whole riding experience. The models for today’s fight are the 2012 Citroen DS3 and 2012 Fiat 500. These two models are very interesting, each in its own way. Therefore let’s see which one will get it closer to the best in the compact cars segment market.

Both models are quite affordable, but as we have decided that today the price will not mean anything, we will not look at the concrete numbers right now. The fight today will be based majorly on the characteristics, especially the power output and the engine’s capacity. Let’s see what these two models can say to that! New Citroen model got the core of 1.6-Liter VTi with the power level of 120-hp. This engine is not the most powerful among the ones available for Citroen, though it is the one we decided will be fair to choose. New Fiat 500 has a core of 1.4-Liter MultiAir engine that produces about 100-horsepower. This is not that bad if we compare the sizes of the models and the actual power that they can produce.

Now, if this is the end, well, basing on what we saw, we must say that new Citroen seems to be a more engaging car, than new Fiat, mainly because of its power ratios. Then we shall say this, new Citroen DS3 wins the fight!
