Getting into a fight between similar models may be useful but is not that much fun. Therefore let’s now make the fights and useful and interesting. We’ve got the 2012 Ford Fiesta, Toyota Corolla, and Mazda3 into one stand so that to look which car with the average price of around $16,000 will be the best.

Let’s first of all look at the inner side of those great vehicles. Ford can give you the 120-horseower 1.6-liter I-4 the regular gas engine option. Not bad, but Corolla got the 132-horsepower 1.8-liter I-4 also the regular gas engine. We thought that would be fair enough. But Mazda3 got us in the nice surprise by offering the highest power of all with the 167-horsepower 2.5-liter I-4 the regular gas one. You can also get the less powerful engine for Mazda, but it is simply not worth it.

Even though the lowest one will still beat the Toyota engine option. All three models offer 5-speed manual transmission systems. However with Ford you can also get the 6-speed auto-shift manual, and with Toyota the 4-speed automatic. Mazda in turn can come also with the 6-speed manual or automatic transmission. So just get it whichever way you like!

Therefore Mazda3 is the rightful winner among others in under $16K fight.
