SUVs Fight: Mazda vs Toyota

Today lets see the fight of two interesting and big model of the sport utility vehicle family, that are both presented by the Japanese automakers. We are going to see the new 2013 year model of Mazda CX-9 fighting with the 2013 Toyota Venza. Both models come in the sport utility trim, therefore let’s see which one will win the fight.

The prices of the two cars are pretty similar and not higher than $30,000. New Mazda costs $29,800, while new Toyota is less costly, and its price was set at the level of $27,800. Let’s now see what these two cars got for their cores. New Mazda received a 3.7-Liter 273-hp V6, while new Toyota comes with 2.7-Liter 181-hp I4. Both cars got the front-wheel drive and come with four valves. The fuel efficiency is of course higher with new Toyota, as it offers 20 mpg in the city and 26 mpg on the highway, while new Mazda offers about 2 mpg less in each perspective.

So in the end, as the consumers become more and more price sensitive and try to save as much as possible, finding the best offering in terms of price-performance-quality ratio, we think that with this task new Toyota Venza handles better than Mazda.
